Post it notes…

…I must not stick post-it notes on Pippa’s screen, I must not stick post-it notes on Pippa’s screen, I must not stick post-it notes on Pippa’s screen. x100

It would appear that I am very close to getting in trouble at work for my post-it note related activities. From now on I will stick them on her back while she is in the rest room.

Changing plans…

Written by neil on April 25, 2004 at 2:14 pm in Uncategorized

…Last night our plans changed about a million times, but in the end we went to Bickleigh for a nice drink outside by the river.

We laughed lots about how horrible pigeons feet are, made up untruths (did you know that you lose 90% of your body heat through your feet? Did you know that Paul Simon once wrote a song called “My, that is a small Baileys”? or that Peter Gabriel’s great grandfather invented the tractor?…). We wondered about the stability of the exhaust on Dave’s Micra, wondered if trobled water should ring the Samaritans, we ate kebabs, then settled down for a rather late game of Monopoly and some beers.

Realised I really am getting old if I spend my weekends playing Monopoly though…

…I was just looking at DAB Radios on the net (as usual) and found an interesting caption to a picture of one of the radios…

…What other purpose does an image have???

Strike…

Written by neil on April 13, 2004 at 10:22 pm in Uncategorized

…The strike is back on again, but to be honest it is just like a holiday week. Only 2 people picketing outside (lazy so and sos), the centre operating as normal for incoming calls. Suprised at a couple of people for not coming in, perhaps they were ill?

Did Hospital Radio this evening, Tuesdays is a real laugh, but Tarrot will be off for a few weeks now, Caroline will fill in for him – the question is can she press the right buttons at the right time??? Find out next week…

Happy Easter!…

Written by neil on April 11, 2004 at 10:33 am in Uncategorized

… Currently I am sitting in a small, very hot studio trying to rouse some Easter spirit in Sky radio listeners, but coming accross as a chocolate crazed maniac so far. What was the Easter spirit again?

Mobile phone…

I know it’s boring, but i have just bought a new mobile phone (new number, I will be texting it out soon, but let me know if you want it).

Its a Samsung SGH A800. It really is very, very small, and rather funky, but suprisingly cheap. I also get 100 text messages a month, which is great for a text-a-holic like me :)
