Beach…

… I woke up this morning and could not face a day in front of the computer screen, so I rang in to take a days annual leave (which we are aloud to do!).

After spending until 10am in bed listening to music, then having a nice long bath I decided I needed to get out the house.

Into the Panda I jumped and down to Branscombe to sit on the beach, it was so nice and peaceful and gave me chance to think and reflect. I feel much more “healthy” in my mind now, and must make a note to do it more often!

Sleep…

…I woke up every hour, on the hour last night. Do you think my brain might be picking up the Grenwich time signal?

Photos of me at work!

…Thanks to Ami (and the cats) for the photos of Children in need Day at work a few weeks ago!

Thea Gilmore was brilliant the other night! Another load of albums I need to buy now…

Too much…

…I am doing too much and getting too little sleep…

Monday I tackled the shopping, then went straight to the pub to meet up with a friends, then ran into some work friends and ended up not getting in until gone 11pm. Tuesday I went over to a friends house, last night met up with friends for a “drink”, ended up in Cavern – home at 2am, Tonight is Thea Gilmore at the Pheonix, tomorrow meeting a friend in town… All that and work, cooking, washing…

Saturday night is going to be spent indoors, honest… no really…

Day off…

Written by neil on November 22, 2004 at 6:53 am in Uncategorized

… We can ring up in the morning and just request a day off, as long as we have the holiday to cover it then it is not a problem.

Only the first two people to ring up before 7am, and leave a message can get the day off. Which is fair enough.

The question is am I one of those people today? I am awaiting a phonecall.

Poor Panda…

…my poor Panda died on a stretch of duel-carriageway after my radio show today. It just lost all power and glided to a halt.

luckily my parents bought me breakdown cover a few weeks ago, so all i had to do was ring a man and he came and fixed it by the roadside! Took 10 minutes to arrive, and quarter an hour to fix the broken connector and I was on my way.

So I salute Britannia breakdown and Lamb Hill garage for your quick and effective service! (and it seemed weird paying nothing!)

3am…

…Bridget Jones 2 was great, very funny indeed, and the rest of the evening was nice too :)

Last night the plan was to meet a few friends for a quick drink. In reality I ran into some workfriends, we ended up in a nightclub, some of my friends snogged each other, some of them decided it was fun to jump into bushes on the way home, and I got home at 3am.

Bill..

Kill Bill was great! Thanks Dennis and Steve and Sarah for organising such a great evening!

I really enjoyed the first film, and the second one was fine too. Not really any moments I had to look away – in fact I laughed more than I squirmed.

And (a comment that only people who were there will understand) this morning my poo was not blue.
