…Went to see Hayseed Dixie last night, must be the fourth time, but they just get better each time. where else can you hear The Ace of Spades on the banjo? They really are one of the most entertaining bands I have ever seen.

I have heard a number of cult classics on the ukelele though, courtesy of the rather marvellous Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain, who were at Greenbelt last year (I think you’d have loved them). Grace Jones "Slave to the Rhythm" and Nirvana’s "Smells Like Teen Spirit" were my two favourites, but it was all hilarious.
