…a few other bloggers have been doing this VisualDNA thing, not quite sure what it is about but it seems to flash pictures of things you like, or don’t like, or something.
The common theme in them seems to be Chocolate, and the liking of it.
Now I like chocolate, it’s fine, but is it really that great? Why do people rave about it so much? Do people like it so much because they actually like it, or do they elevate it’s status because they want something that they feel is a luxury treat, and good marketing puts it in such a position? perhaps it is a ancestoral memory of when chocolate really was a rare treat?
Chocolate will remain a mystery to me why people like it so much, just like ice cream and football…

ah, now the common theme in the ones I’ve seen is poxy romantic pictures of people holding hands or being all lovey dovey either with each other or with children. Give me chocolate any day.
I love chocolate: dark, bitter chocolate in particular. They (you know, them) say it releases chemicals which can make you feel elated: it does make me happy. I don’t gorge, I have it sparingly — and I love it. The taste, the texture as I chew, the varities…mmmm.
I’m with you on football though: all types. Don’t understand it.
Ah, now I do love the old football – how novel that I can justify commenting freely about football on Neil’s blog today (Come on you Spurs!) hahaha! Chocolate though is nice enough – a nice bar of decent milk chocolate (ie Cadbury’s) is good… but it bugs me when people assume that you like anything chocolate flavoured – which I don’t at all – including ice cream – yuk!
Oh and what’s this DNA thing anyway – I haven’t seen it?

But good chocolate can be sooooooo good. When it is nice and creamy, especially Milka from Germany or the real good thing from Switzerland…. MMMMMMMMMMhhhhhhhhhhh
